Broken Oath are a band I've been obsessing over for about the past year. They were a female fronted band from Glasgow, formed in 2001 and broke up in 2008. They also played a reunion show in 2010 at La Cheetah in Glasgow. By My Hands, Departures, Broken Teeth and Flags Raised played too. I obviously missed this. Their tunes are riffy and aggressive as fuck. The demo and split with Eviscerate A.D. lack a bit in recording quality and by the time they recorded Blood Cleanse The Streets/Given Half A Chance they sort of strayed away from the metal-ish sound that the first material gives away. Blood Cleanse The Streets is probably my favourite!
